Today I watched several presentations created by our classmates .The presentations renditions I watched were "We real cool" by Dominique Williams,"Kaba" by Tamika Best ,and "On Children" by Cindi Gil.The students used powerpoint to build their presentations.
The assignment of today was to share our feedback on what we watched, critique and review these works.
The first rendition I watched was "on children" by Cindi Gil.The use of black and white images being the dominant color of this visual presentation turned out to pay off.Several important
lines are made more dramatic by including color to the visuals.lines that stated that your children are unique, unlike you and "have their own thoughts", are given power to the statement by being in color and having a modern but not timeless look. This rare use of color made the visuals feel like they were rebeling against the rest of the presentation and trying to be unique.
The Oral presentation was solid and didnt have any notable flaws to mention.Overall, the presentation was solid.
Another visual presentation I saw "We real cool ",interpreted by Dominique Williams, was pretty good as well.Visually, the feel to this poem wasnt as memorable as the one mentioned above. However that does not mean it was bad.The visuals do include a few notable images. The one at the very end stating"we die soon'' is creative in its interpretation of death. The depiction is that of a man walking foolishly towards a gaint snake. The oral presentation was based on all other visual presentations the best with each statement in the poem making an impact.

Sedrick,
Another fine piece of writing. You wrote this just as a critic would write it. Good use of vocabulary, style and language.
Use two spaces after a period. One space after a comma.
