In the event of all schools shutting down indefinatly, what would you do?

If all schools were to shut down, I dont know what I would do honestly. From elementary school to up to this point in life, all I have been doing is preparing for the future in a set path. All schools shutting downabruptly is something I have literally, never once contemplated. If jobs still needed requirements like a certain amount of years of schooling completed and a diploma to show for it,I probably would go for a job as a store clerk.
However, if job requirements were skill based, I would go for a job as an artist's assistant in graphic illistrations.I would choose this job because graphic illestrators are always in need of assistants to help them with sketches and storyboards.
Another alternative I would choose is working a paper route on the weekends
at midnights .I would choose this job because I have experience with this type of job and it pays fairly well considering the requirements.

No work no computer,Is it fair or unfair?

In order to access the computer you must have completed work the day before. If you have not, then you must do the work on paper.in order to use the computer the following day.
Unfortunately many of my classmates have abused computer priviliges and thus this rule had
to be implimented.I do think this rule is fair and neccesary. This rule doesnt say you cannot access MYspace or any other websites. The rule just says you have to complete work
to use the computers. The students in my class had begun to misinterpret the purpose of computer class and or decided that the purpose of the computer is for entertainment. This rule has created a more productive learning environment and is an effective way to motivate
students to put more of an effort in classwork.

The way Cherron writes.

"Safty is withought a doubt an hugeissue ,but no the name shouldnt change .....WE SHOULD!!!!"
This quote is from a post from a student in my class named Cherron.I chose this quote because
I like the way it was put together especially the last few words. she made some errors but then so does everyone else.Cherron has an enthusiastic way of writing and uses a nice body of words.
From the last two words she gets her point across and fully expresses her opinion be writing
"WE SHOULD !!!!" In all capitalized words.I think she has an original way of writing.
The subject I took this quote from was about whether or not Philadelphia should have the name changed. From the start she points out the problems of the city, choosing to focus on the situation
of philadelphia. She answers the question on the last sentence about what should be changed
and gets her point across.Cherron doesnt waste time and gets to the point of the matter
and has a skillful way of putting it into a structured paragraph.

Kevin Ross

It is hard for me to imagine only knowing how to read your name from birth to early adulthood.
I cannot even fathom the idea of being an illiterate young adult. To me this problem should have been completely avoided. It does not specify if Ross lived with his father but I think if he had a strong and intelligent male influencing him in his early childhood this would have never happening.
Kevin Ross shouldnt have focused all of his time on Basketball. He should have spent more time on his educationand studies instead. He could have asked teachers for help instead of letting this problem get out of hand.I cant see any excuse for letting this happen. The only reason I can see this happening is that the teachers did not care, which to me apparently must have been the case.
Kevin Ross was succesfully educated by a woman named Marva Collins.Marva Collins is an american educator who uses more than conventional methods to teach. She has said a number of qoutes including."Don't try to fix the students, fix ourselves first. The good teacher makes the poor student good and the good student superior. When our students fail, we, as teachers, too, have failed" and "The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another." She founded westside preparity which has become sucessful as well as recieving a national humanities medal.
